Our History
Our church was founded in September 1990, when fifty brothers and sisters from Pacific Grace Mennonite Brethren responded to God’s calling to establish a sister church in North Burnaby. They rented a small building on Ellesmere Avenue and began ministering to Chinese immigrants in the neighbourhood. The congregation grew quickly. In 1991, our church was registered as a member of the BC Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches.
The English Ministry was added to our church in 1998 in response to a growing number of English-speaking congregation members. Our English, Chinese, and Children Ministries work together in unity to share the good news of Jesus Christ.
我們的教會成立於1990年9月，當時有五十位來自基督教頌恩堂的弟兄姊妹回應上帝的呼召，在北拿比建立一間姊妹教會。他們租下了Ellesmere 街的一間小建築物，在那裡開始服事周圍社區內的華人移民。會眾迅速成長。在1991年，我們的教會正式註冊加入卑詩省門門諾弟兄會 (BC Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches) 成為聯會會員。
1998年，由於英語的會眾越來越多，我們的教會增設了英文事工。目前, 我們的英文、中文及兒童事工同心合力，共同分享耶穌基督的福音。
